12.22.07 The role of HOSS is now being played by JOHNNY T! Johnny moved to Arizona from Rhode Island recently and has become a good friend of The FED-UPS. His solid bass skills and good nature help balance us out! We look forward to good times ahead!

12.15.07 Our dear HOSS has parted ways...well, he isn't playing bass with us anymore at least! He remains a great friend & his other bands [DICK HAZARD, WALT FLANAGAN'S DOG, and several other projects we can't really keep track of] are still out there kickin' ass! We're sure to end up playing some of the same shows together!

We want to thank Hoss for helping us out over the past year or so. Who would've guessed the ride would be so long. Hoss, you are an incredible bass player & a great friend, we're surprised you let us hold you back for so long! We love you & thank you for all your support, your friendship, and your contributions to the band! CHEERS friend and safe journeys.

09.10.07 ATTENTION LOCAL AZ PUNK BANDS: AZPUNK.COM needs your help!

We may lose this incredible resource if we don’t do something fast. They need CASH! Now, we know you don’t have any to give (who does?) But, if you’re in a band, you could certainly donate about 20-45 minutes of playing time, right?

Here are two chances to support your community PUNKS: On September 19 and September 26, both Wednesdays, the YUCCA Tap Room (29 W. Southern Ave in Tempe, just west of Mill Ave) will host free shows where collections will be taken for AZPUNK.COM. YOUR BAND CAN PLAY ON ONE OF THESE NIGHTS.....see the thread on AZPUNK.COM for more details, or contact us NOW by sending us an e-mail or messaging us through myspace (see our contacts section)!

The Fed-Ups are doing everything we can (even if that means giving up a little sleep on a fuckin weeknight!!!!!) so we’re asking everyone to do the same. Maybe you can help by just spreading the word.

AZPUNK.COM is an incredible resource for the punk rock community and losing it will de a detriment for sure!

Also, another opportunity to donate cash--Wednesday September 12, The Stray Cat Bar & Grill (2433 E University Dr. in Tempe, just east of the 101) will host a night of AWESOME local DJs, spinning the best punk rock -and then some- 7 inches you ever heard! They will be taking donations for AZPUNK as well, so stop by with some cash (hey, loose change works too!).

01.01.07 Hoss is playing bass with the FED-UPS!!! We love it...He has been a great friend to us for a long time, and we are honored that he has considered doing this shit with us! He is helping us out for a bit (but we believe with some healthy manipulation --and a bit of sword slingin---we may be able to convince him to stick around!) ... ........................ 12.15.06 The FED UPS have made a few changes over the last few months. Our good friend Pat has agreed to help us out with his awesome skills on lead guitar. He is a true Shredder-- an "axe-murderer" if you will. We're not sure how long it will take for him to realize what losers we really are, so--while it lasts--we are having as much fun as we can!!

Also....Our previous bass player, JEFF, has decided to leave the band and concentrate on projects that better suit his interests and oh-so-flavorful style!. We are sad that he has left us, but we understand that this shit ain't for everyone and completely respect his decision to move on. He was an important part or our sad little beginning, and all our love goes with him! Best of luck to JEFF and the projects he is a part of (he is a phenom on bass, and surely has his plate full!)
